Novel in a Day

If you've always been meaning to start that novel - but never quite got it going, started and lost your way or courage, or even wonder if you have a novel in you then this workshop is just for you.

You will not be expected to actually finish a novel but will look at the components that are needed to make it happen. Practical sessions throughout the day will give you the chance to practice what you are learning.

Areas that can be covered include: Genre, Planning, Structure, Research, Plot, Dialogue, Characterisation, Scenes, Events, Beginnings and Endings, Writer's Block.

You should go home, not only inspired, but with skills that will enable you to start, or finish, that novel.
